Holographic hot-stamping foil is an advanced multi-layer polyester film that features complex holographic designs or registered hologram motifs, with a thickness between 15 and 25 microns. It undergoes a specific wax release coating treatment and is adhered onto different substrates, such as paper, vinyl cards, and synthetic leather, using heat and pressure application. After the foil is attached, it cannot be relocated or detached from the base material, which could be paper, leather, or other surfaces. To make it more scratch-resistant, the foil is metalized. There are three different security hot-stamping foils: A) Registered hologram image with sensor mark - this type is visually striking, economical, and has high adhesion after application. It has a single sensor that facilitates its application via high-speed automated stamping, and it is designed with a holographic image that is favorable to effective stamping because of its operational routine images, thus reducing waste in the process.
